Decisions
Grade the conversation with evaluations, answer several at once with a group, and apply named transitions with Change State.
Decisions are how a graph reacts to what was said. An evaluation asks a question about the conversation; its answer picks a branch; the branch's edges are what happens next.
Evaluation
A question graded against the conversation, on every turn it is visible.
It produces a result — yes or no, a number, or one of several options — and each result has its own branch. A branch can change a state, run a tool or say something.
"Has the caller confirmed the appointment time?" — on yes, activate
bookedand run the booking tool; on no, do nothing and ask again next turn.
Edges into an evaluation from a state are visibility rules: grade it only while that state is active. Edges out of a branch are that branch's reactions.
Evaluation Group
Several evaluations answered as one set. The members are offered to the model as a single combined question, so it answers them together in one call.
"Name given?", "Email given?", "Consent given?" — all answerable from the same turn, so asking separately would spend three calls on one answer.
Grouping changes how the questions are asked, never what happens with the answers: each member keeps its own branches.
Tip
Keep a question that can only be answered much later out of the group. The whole group waits for its slowest member.
Change State
A named transition: several state changes applied together, as one thing you can name and read.
"Qualified": turn on
qualified, turn offscreening, setlead_scoreto 8.
Its edges to states are the changes — drawing one adds it, deleting one withdraws it, so there is no separate list to keep in step with the picture. See States.
